YouTube.com, once the unofficial home on the web for free-speech and self-expression has now become a cesspool of wicked censorship. YouTube’s new policies that they laid out a couple of weeks ago has spawned a fire storm of decent among the rank and file users.
Basically, YouTube will now “algorithmically demote” (censor) videos that are too political, controversial, vulgar, or that they just don’t like. This is a disgrace, and starting December 19th we are going to show them that it is not a smart business move. Join me and hordes of other YouTube users in sending a message by boycotting YouTube from December the 19th through the 21st. This “Blackout” will drive down their ad revenue, and make YouTube and their new parent company Google feel our disapproval in the one place where they can feel anything: their wallets! My wife took me to see ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still,’ so I thought I would do a review of it. I am a big fan of the original. This remake, staring Keanuu Reeves, raises some very important questions, like contact with alien intelligences, transhumanism, and the fate of our planet and ultimately ourselves. Last Sunday Denice and I attended a Christmas concert that was held by the Metropolitan Community Church of Knoxville Tennessee. The MCC is an organization that caters to the religious needs of the “gay, lesbian, and transgender” community. Please listen to the podcast for my comments on this event, and on the phenomenon of “gay Christians” in general.
I felt inspired to talk a little about certain behaviour displayed during many Christian worship services that is passed of as being “supernatural.” After spending many years as a run-of-the-mill, awe struck believer in these things, I can testify from personal experience that they are completely of natural origin.
