My wife took me to see ‘The Day the Earth Stood Still,’ so I thought I would do a review of it. I am a big fan of the original. This remake, staring Keanuu Reeves, raises some very important questions, like contact with alien intelligences, transhumanism, and the fate of our planet and ultimately ourselves. I felt inspired to talk a little about certain behaviour displayed during many Christian worship services that is passed of as being “supernatural.” After spending many years as a run-of-the-mill, awe struck believer in these things, I can testify from personal experience that they are completely of natural origin.
