Debunking “Supernatural” Phenomenon

I felt inspired to talk a little about certain behaviour displayed during many Christian worship services that is passed of as being “supernatural.” After spending many years as a run-of-the-mill, awe struck believer in these things, I can testify from personal experience that they are completely of natural origin. In this podcast, I focus primarily on the phenomenon that is commonly called ‘being slain in the spirit,’ which I affectionately refer to as ‘potato sacking.’ Enjoy, and subscribe!

My Road to Reason

Hello friends. This is my first audio blog. In this recording I talk about my indoctrination into Christianity as a child, and some of the key things that happened to me to bring about my deconversion from the religion. It’s about thirteen minutes long, and is the first of what will probably be many parts. I was really fricked up in the head, so it’s going to take a while to explain it all.

Zeitgeist the Movie

I am in the process of watching this fascinating documentary called ‘Zeitgeist.’ It deals with a number of different subjects, but the gist of the film is how we as a species hold grave misconceptions about the world we live in. The first few parts deal with religion. It didn’t really break new ground for me, since I have been studing this subject relentlessly for months, but Zeitgeist lays the facts out in a very easy to understand way.

A year ago I wouldn’t have touched a movie like this with a ten foot pole. The self-protecting/reinforcing mechanism that I was indoctrinated with was still somewhat functioning. It wasn’t until I took that first step, and dared to check something out that I new would challenge my faith in Christianity that the machine broke down in my mind. Today, after much research and soul search, I can say with confidence that God, Jesus, the Bible, and religion as a whole is not what most people think it is. It has a history that you may not be aware of, so if you are a believer, be warned: this documentary will challenge your belief system. If you can’t handle that, then don’t watch it. If you are ready, then you already know that you have nothing to fear.

I took the liberty of uploading the video in segmants to my Youtube chanel. Below is the first part of Zeitgeist: The Greatest Story Ever Told.

You can watch the film in its entirety here: http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

Christian Naturism?

I’ve been getting a few questions coming in from people wondering why I don’t have any clothes on in the header images. (Even though I don’t have any clothing on, thanks to precise camera angles and cropping, you will never see anything that some would consider offensive.) Well, the answer is simple, and it may come as a shock to some of you who used to keep up with the old site. I am a ‘Naturist.’ ((SHOCK!)) “Oh my God, you… a… a… naturist!?” Yes, me, a naturist. And I know some of you are probably thinking to yourself, “Ok, well, just what is a ‘naturist,’ anyway?” Ah, now that is the question… just what is a naturist. It’s very simple, my friend. Just let me educate you.

Naturism is a philosophy. Basically, a naturist is a person who subscribes to a more natural way of living. As a Christian naturist, I believe that God’s original intent was for man to be able to live without the need to cover his body with clothing, to not be ashamed of what he is, for he is the handy work of God. This can be seen in the book of Genesis…

And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. (Genesis 2:25)

When God looked upon all that He had created, including the completely naked couple who were hanging out in the midst of His garden, He proclaimed it all “very good!” If God calls being au’ natural and not ashamed of it a very good thing, then there is no way it is a sin, not then, and certainly not now. This is the basis of Christian naturism.

Well, it seems that I have run out of time this morning. I have to get ready for my day job. But, I will be doing some more in detailed posting on naturism very soon. Just stay tuned, and we will explore this topic together, my friend. Till then.

I’m back! Did you miss me?

I’ve been out of this game for a long time. A lot has changed since the last time SpiritfX was alive on the Internet. I’ve learned a lot, about myself, and the world around me. I have delved deep into the dark abyss of the occult forces that control our nation, and the world for that matter. I have sat idly by and watched multitudes of preborn children being carried by their own mothers into the killing centers. I have watched the world around me dissolve into endless war. The one truth that I keep coming back to, and am now more convinced than ever… Jesus Christ is Lord, and He is our only hope!

I started this little web site six years ago, in 2001. It was pretty crude at first (and really, still is). It’s purpose has drifted from anti-abortion activism, to Christian ministry, to amateur web and graphic design, and now to this… a web log. But what exactly is a “web log,” you ask? Well, a web log or a “blog” as it is commonly called is simply a voice, and this blog is my voice. It is my voice to you. You are my reader, and it is my desire to impart to you the things that I have learned, what I believe… all that I am.

I’m just getting this thing rolling, so I still have a few tech issues to iron out, but I will be getting down to some serious blogging real soon. For now, feel free to have a look at the About page, since it’s the only thing that’s finished. It will give you an idea of what this site is all about. And by all means, subscribe to my RSS feed. It is an awesome tool for keeping up with everything.

Thank you for being my reader. You won’t regret it. Until next time.
